Biography:
Michael Wang grew up in San Gabriel Valley. He was educated at Yale for college, Boston University for medical school, then Olive View-UCLA for residency and chief residency. He is fellowship trained in geriatric medicine at UCLA and has been working as a geriatric hospitalist for 8 years. He was on faculty at UC Irvine for 7 years, then at USC as Director of University Hospital Medicine for the past year. He attends on the wards and in geriatrics clinic, does inpatient geriatric consults, and has received a number of teaching awards from residents and medical students. His publications are on Delirium as well as Prevention in Hospitalized patients. He is honored to be able to be part of the faculty of this year’s conference.
