Purpose: Update on multidrug-resistant TB, including new diagnostics, treatment, epidemiology and future anticipated developments.
Objectives:
Define the terms “multidrug-resistant TB” and “extensively-drug resistant TB.”
List at least 3 risk factors for multidrug-resistant TB.
Describe the treatment and monitoring of multidrug-resistant TB patients.
